The Houston League of Business Professional Women held their 50th Anniversary celebration on April 26, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel where they honored Charter Member Hazel Wilson, along with other honorees.

Dr. Ka-Ron Wade, Dana Jones, Marian Harper, Marilyn Jones, Layla Jones and Brindon Reed all received awards. But State Rep. Senfronia Thompson delivered the keynote speech before being awarded the Sojourner a Truth award after a grand introduction from long time friend and colleague, State Rep. Alma Allen.
